Episode 7: An Eyewitness Account of 9-11
Where were you on 9-11? Many recall seeing the images on TV and most of the service members who attend our program were not even born when it occurred, but Texas Area Director Tony Smit was there at the World Trade Center. He retells the story, which is often shared when speaking at our program, of being assigned to the Secret Service detail with his dog handling unit when he was military police for the USMC and the month that followed in NYC.
Episode 8: Discipleship
We’re a spark that ignites the hunger or thirst for faith. Through relationships started with volunteers from local churches, parachurch organizations and unit chaplains, service members have opportunities to plug into God’s family to grow their faith.
