2025 Year End Update
The fourth quarter is off and running, and with over 20 programs scheduled from coast to coast, it looks to be our busiest one yet. The requests keep coming and our team has filled their schedule to capacity through the end of 2025.
From rock climbing and skydiving to whitewater rafting, service members are stepping out of their comfort zones and into a day of authentic connection—discovering faith, identity, and purpose in God’s creation. Each program strengthens the resilience of our nation’s warriors—mind, body, and spirit—equipping them for life and mission readiness.
It’s been an amazing summer! Demand for our team to support military units across the nation continues and we are humbled to be part of God moving to save lives for eternity. It is incredible to see and doesn’t happen without you on our team!
The active duty service members that participate in our program leave knowing they were created by God, that he loves them, and has a good plan for their life. We hear back from units who see the impact firsthand, how it helps service members with stress and anxiety and getting ahead of the curve with depression and suicidal ideation.
We hope you share in the excitement of what God is doing through your support that fuels our partnership with commands and chaplains to build resiliency and spiritual fitness by using outdoor adventure and including the life-giving, life-affirming message of the gospel.
Help us continue reaching more of our nation’s warriors. Pray for us, share our mission, and consider an increase in your financial support.
Halfway through 2025 and nearly 900 active duty service members have had the opportunity to participate completely free of charge in our resiliency and spiritual fitness outdoor adventure program.
Recent headlines bring front and center the immense risks and sacrifices service members face each day in their service to our country.
It is only with the support of a grateful nation that we can make a difference in the lives of those who protect and defend our freedoms.
Mike Train interviewed SSO Founder and President Rick Wolf on his KLTT AM 670 show Talking Truth, discussing SSO’s dedication to supporting active duty military personnel, the lasting impact in their lives our program has by promoting spiritual, mental, and physical fitness, and the critical role faith plays in building stronger service members.
